Getting opinions presented by people, who are overconvinced, from themselves is not a discussion.

Like you, for example in the rules forum of Power Struggle:

You know that the player who declined the bribe gets to choose their own employee to lose, not the player who offered the bribe, right?

A statement which was expressed in an educational fashion, with complete prejudice and without the slightest self-doubt - and which was wrong.

You are right, maybe it's not the forum, but the certain people in the forum. These kind of people, who miss any unassumingness and are not able to lead a "discussion" with a really open end. These kind of people, who decide for themselves, if a question is worth asking, or already answered - by themselves, of course. These people, who constantly confuse their personal opinion with universal validity. Like here:

Absolutely not. That's the point of consequences of declined bribes.

Is it "IMHO, I would think, in case of doubt, that what you proposed is not allowed"? No. It's "Absolutely not." Based on a pure own, generalized (and finally wrong) assumption. And this you call discussion. There is not much to misunderstand with the two words "absolutely not".

Maybe you should start declaring your own opinions as such. Then you could continue with presenting reasons for your opinions. And if these reasons are even derived from a general available source and not from personal play habits, then I will, perhaps, believe you, that you are willing to discuss with me.
