Hi there,We've just finished playing Troyes with the expansion and here is the situation we experienced:
In play there were the following: "Fort" and "Herbalist" cards as well as Outdoor Activity II (the one that allows you to put cubes from that outdoor activity to delayed effect card of your choice whenever you use the effect of a delayed activity card".
In my opinion "Fort"/"Herbalist" combo (and maybe even "Fort" itself!) is just too strong. Here's how you can play a combo on each of your turn to score a big number of VPs:
You take any white die (preferably a high-value die bought from other players, a high-value die of your own or a low-value die turned into a high-value die), then you activate the delayed effect of "Herbalist" which turns that one die into 3 red dice of the same values and put it on "Fort" card. As the effect of "Fort", you get 6 VPs and 6 influence points in one blow. If that is not enough, you can add a cube from your Outdoor Activity II back to "Herbalist" card.
Don't you think it's broken? This combo just killed the game. Why bother collecting 1 VP or 2 VPs with "Nun" (that card was also in play) when you can get about 16 points in one round from "Fort"?
