"This permits you to earn 1 VP per Event card you have countered in the game by using the Combat the Events action."I strongly assume, that you also get 1 VP per card, if defeated by other means (for example by the Archer), even if you were not the one, who activated it (someone could have actived the Archer, but you got the card, because of majority).
Or with other words, it's simply the amount of event cards, you got from the game board, no matter how? Confirm? Object?
Sidenote: My assumption again is based on that the-game-has-no-history-thing.
