Thanks for clearing that up.
However in the (american version) of the rules it is not really clear that you can only place one cube on each outdoor activity when you take the 'use your guards on the ramparts action'. It just specifies that you get the die-value number of actions and that each action can be used to move one space or add one cube. So I hope you put it in an errata for all those who don't hang out here on BBG. :)
And let me just say that I really enjoy Troyes, so I'm very happy with this clarification.
